Document Generation - PDF Output

The Generate Document From Template action can now create a PDF in addition to (or instead of) an editable Google Doc.

Use the new Output Format input:

• google_doc (default) - editable Google Doc only (unchanged behavior for existing Flows)
• pdf - PDF only
• both - Google Doc and PDF in the destination folder

New outputs:

• PDF File ID
• PDF File URL

Document ID / Document URL remain available when a Google Doc is kept.

Update Drive Item Share Settings

DriveMate 4.7 adds a Flow and Apex action to update the same Google Drive share settings that users can change from the Share Settings screen in the Google Drive Folder component.

You can automate:

• Whether editors can change permissions and share the item
• Whether access to a folder is limited to people with direct access (no inherited access from a parent)
• Whether commenters and viewers can download, copy, and print a file

Only the settings you provide are changed. Leave a setting empty to keep its current value. Each setting is saved in its own Google Drive request, so you can update one or more settings in a single Flow action.

This action does not add or remove people, and it does not change anyone-with-the-link access. Use the existing sharing and general access actions for those cases.

Available Action

• Update Drive Item Share Settings - update editors-can-share, limit folder access, and file download/copy/print settings.
